Polly Slater
Polly is a History and Archaeology graduate, who started her career as an Au pair in Germany. Through volunteering in the local international school, she gained a passion for supporting students and cultural exchange. This led her to enrol on a Cert-Tesol course in Austria, where she had the opportunity to travel across Austria delivering English language workshops to multilingual students at both primary and secondary level for 6 months. Once qualified, she relocated to Leeds, where she secured a full-time ESOL and IELTS teaching job at a private school. As well as education, Polly has a passion for social history, collections and sporting heritage. She is currently working towards an MA in Museum and Cultural Studies. In addition to her pastoral role in sixth form, she helps coordinate displays and pop-up exhibitions for the Museum at Hanson.
