Jonathan Hodson
Jonathan began his teaching career in 1992 as a PE & Maths teacher, before taking on the role as Lead Teacher of PE at Hanson Academy. In 2012, he was promoted to Assistant Head where his involvement covered Intervention, Student Outcomes, Data, Curriculum & Timetabling.
Jonathan is very passionate about leading Post 16 and ensuring that all students can progress onto university.
Danielle Whitaker
Danielle started working at Hanson Academy in 2015, and has worked across a range of different departments, including Inclusion, Transition and Careers. She now manages the Year 13 cohort and is the Post 16 Safeguarding Lead.
Danielle is passionate about providing support for students and enabling access to local services and external support agencies.
Polly Slater
Polly began teaching English abroad in 2018, before moving to Bradford to teach ESOL and IELTS in a boarding school. She joined Hanson Sixth form as a Learning Mentor in 2022 and now manages the Year 12 cohort.
Polly is passionate about supporting students pastorally and helping them upskill, ready for future learning or employment.
Lindsay Szabo
Lindsay began her early career as a Legal Executive before joining Hanson Academy as a Post 16 Administrator.
Lindsay is passionate about supporting students through the admissions process and helps deliver information sessions and application advice for the bursary.
Vikki Reid
Vikki joined Hanson Academy in 2016 where she worked in the Data department, before moving to Post 16 in 2023, to monitor attendance.
Vikki is passionate about helping students improve their punctuality and attendance.
