End of Term Arrangements

Dear Parents/Carers      

It has been an amazing term and we thank you for your continued support. Please find below useful and necessary information for the end of this term and start of next term.                         

End of Term Arrangements

Hanson Academy closes on Friday 20^th December 2024, students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Students to attend school in full uniform. Any students who have free school meals will be able to collect a grab bag from the atrium (if required). 

New Term Arrangements

All students return to the Academy on Monday 6th January 2025 at 8.25am.

Parents Evenings

Thank you to Year 8 Parents and Carers for attending Year 8 Parents Evening in November. To all other Parents/Carers we look forward to welcoming you in the new year at the relevant Parents Evening’s:

We will be reporting home to all Parents and Carers 31^st January 2025 with your child’s mid-year report – please note the report will be sent via the My Child At School App.

What is My Child At School (MCAS) app? 

MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) is a portal that can enable parents to view their child’s academic performance in real-time via a web browser or mobile app. This facility allows exclusive access to key academic dates, attendance information, timetables and the personal details the academy holds for you and your child.  If you are not currently using the MCAS app, please download the app using your app store and enter the priority 1 email linked to your child.
