End of Term Arrangements

Please find below useful and necessary information for the end of this term and start of next term.

Hanson Academy closes on Friday 19th December 2025, students will be dismissed at 12:05pm. Students to attend school in full uniform. Grab bags will be available to students in receipt of free school meals as they leave site.

All students return to the Academy on Tuesday 6th of January 2026 at 8.25am. Please note Monday 5th of January is a staff training day, students should not attend.

Thank you to Year 8 Parents and Carers for attending Year 8 Parents Evening in November. To all other Parents/Carers we look forward to welcoming you in the new year at the relevant Parents Evening’s:

· Year 7 – 11 June 2026

· Year 9 – 05 February 2026

· Year 10 – 16 April 2026

· Year 11 – 08 January 2026

We will be reporting home to all Parents and Carers in January 2026 with your child’s mid-year report – please note the report will be sent via the My Child At School App.

MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) is a portal that can enable parents to view their child’s academic performance in real-time via a web browser or mobile app. This facility allows exclusive access to key academic dates, attendance information, timetables and the personal details the academy holds for you and your child.
