Charity Run for Home from Home Project

During the week beginning 23rd March, students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will take part in a 5K interform charity run in their PE lessons to support the Home from Home Appeal.

This appeal, run by Bradford Hospitals Charity and The Sick Children’s Trust, is raising funds to build a free “Home from Home” next to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary. This facility will allow families with premature or seriously ill babies to stay close to their child during treatment.

Students will bring home a sponsorship form and are encouraged to raise as much money as possible. They should aim to complete the 5K, but all efforts will be celebrated (they do not need to complete the 5k!).

Please return sponsorship money to school in a sealed envelope along with the sponsor form after the event.  They must return this to either their form tutor or Mr. O’Neill.

Thank you for supporting this important local cause.
